It was my family's first trip to NYC and the first show on Broadway! We saw the Lion King! It was fantastic! Wonderful display of multi talented disciplines! My 5 year old grandson was in a wheelchair that afternoon, which was not expected. We had very good seats up front and the manager so that we made it to our sets. Wonderful staff and beautiful show!

Lion King debuted when my children were young. We've loved it ever since. I brought my grandchildren to the show for their first time and it was spectacular! We didn't forsee my youngest being in a wheel chair and they were so helpful with our needs and still able to keep our second row seats. Just amazing all the way around! NYC we love you!

The Minskoff Theatre in NYC provides an exceptional venue for watching Broadway shows, and our experience seeing *The Lion King* there was nothing short of magical. The theater itself is stunning, with excellent seating arrangements that offer great views of the stage from almost every angle. The sound and lighting were top-notch, enhancing the overall experience. However, it's worth noting that the theater can get quite packed, so it's wise to plan ahead and book your tickets early.Ticket prices typically range from $100 to $300, reflecting the high quality of the performances and the prime location. One thing to be aware of is the bright LED billboards outside the building, which can be a bit overwhelming, especially at night. Despite that, the Minskoff Theatre is a fantastic place to enjoy a Broadway show, offering a memorable experience in the heart of Times Square.

This was the BEST show I have ever seen in my entire life. The acting, the signing, the music, it was all perfection. I cried so much during this show because they were able to bring us into the story.I was not expecting much from this because I love the original movie but the “live version” disappointed me so when I thought of how they would transmit a story based on animals but performed by humans it just didn’t make sense to me.OMG WAS I WRONG!!!!!! The show is a once in a lifetime experience and it was worth every penny! One thing is, this show is not great for kids. They would get lost in the story and more than likely get bored plus they cannot appreciate the art and masterpiece. There was a few kids around us that fell asleep.

Wow Wow wow. A thousand times wow! What a stunning production. What creativity for details. Decor, costumes, acting - everything at the highest level. A two and a half hour show, including a break in the middle. The price of the ticket is very expensive but worth every dollar. It is recommended to arrive half an hour before the start of the show. In the hall there is a souvenir stand with dolls, bags, blankets, key chains and more.

The Wiz was indeed a show to see! I have seen many plays in the past, but this show is the best so far. The dance, the message and music was all great. The acting and dress was colorful and on point. The singing and dancers didn't miss a beat.

Everything was spectacular except for people insisting on recording the show despite it being prohibited. I don’t understand how you can pay for tickets to this show and not enjoy it, instead trying to record or take pictures rather than just enjoying the performance. On top of that, they disturb everyone else with the glare from their phones. This is the only downside, along with the lack of friendliness from the vendors at the entrance. The staff who welcome you are very kind, but the ones selling drinks and snacks are in a rush to sell as much as possible. They shout and throw things at you, and they even add a tip at the end as if it’s nothing. I don’t think that’s right, and I hope they can improve on this. Other than that, the show is top-notch, truly wonderful, a must-see, and highly recommended for families with children!

No long waits in line. Doors open 30 min before showtime. Clean, clean toilets. Staff are helpful. Best experience i’ve had. You can’t go wrong with The Lion King- i mean it’s got awards to back it up. No matter how many times you’ve seen the movie & whatever version you saw, cannot compare to how they were able to make Africa come alive onstage! We chose the mezzanine seats to get the full effect of the set design and costumes unless you’re particular seeing the artist upclose, the mezzanine isn’t so bad.

The Lion King performance was phenomenal and deeply emotional for me as it resonated with my life story in many ways. The visual effects were mesmerizing. We had orchestra aisle seats on the right, which were definitely worth it.Unfortunately, we arrived an hour late due to a major crash on the highway that caused significant traffic delays. Chris Rivera, the manager, was very understanding and helped with our late arrival. He offered to come back the next day to see the show. The entire staff was exceptionally nice and polite. I definitely recommend the show and the theater.

My first time seeing The Lion King and seeing a show on Broadway in NYC! The show was absolutely spectacular, very moving, I had goosebumps, I think I shed a couple of tears. It’s just a beautiful play with so much love and care involved. I bought my ticket online the day before, third row back from balcony, and had a great view.Unfortunately the patron seated next to me was messaging on their phone for a large portion of the first half which impacted my enjoyment as the light was very distracting. I had asked the man to please stop several times, with no change in behaviour, I notified a staff member at half time who handled it. Please respect the show and fellow patrons and stay off your phones as directed!

Absolutely amazing! My mom and I went here to celebrate her birthday yesterday (March 20th) and it was incredible! The last time I saw The Lion King was when I was maybe 12-13 years old so it’s been a solid 19-20 years since then! So to be able to see it again all these years later, it was indescribable. You can totally see all the changes and adjustments they made to the show & they were all great changes/adjustments!! The interaction with the audience, the animals going up and down the aisles, overall amazing experience!! My mom enjoyed herself and I think I had more fun than the children did! Lol that’s how excited I was. It was an amazing time overall and I would recommend anyone looking for a great Broadway experience to go see The Lion King!! It’s been running since November of ‘97 so the fact that it’s coming up on 27 years of being on Broadway goes to show how great this show is!! There were even people there traveling all the way from Poland just to come see the show so do yourself a favor & go see The Lion King if you haven’t already!!
