April 7, 2026Offset Hospitalized After Shooting Outside Florida Casino, Authorities Say

Rapper Offset was hospitalized Monday night after a shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, according to his spokesperson and local police.
A representative for the artist said Offset is in stable condition and remains under close medical supervision. More details about his injuries have not been released.
The Seminole Police Department said the incident happened in the valet area outside the casino on Monday evening. Officers confirmed that one person suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening, though police did not publicly identify the victim.
Authorities also said two people were detained after the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and officials have not yet shared what led to the incident.
In a statement, police said the area was secured and there was no danger to the public. The property continued normal operations after the shooting.
Offset, a member of the chart-topping rap group Migos, has remained a major figure in hip-hop for more than a decade. Alongside Quavo and Takeoff, he helped turn Migos into one of the most influential rap acts of its era, with breakout hits like “Versace” and major projects including Culture, which earned Grammy recognition.
The shooting adds another painful chapter to Offset’s recent years. In 2022, his cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed, a loss that deeply affected the group and the wider music community.
Offset was previously married to Cardi B, and the two share three children. Their relationship has often drawn public attention, including news in 2024 that Cardi B had filed for divorce.
Officials have not announced any charges as of now. More updates are expected as investigators continue reviewing the case.
