Shakira Announces Three-Night Madrid Residency at Purpose-Built Shakira Stadium

Shakira is set to light up Madrid with a special three-night residency at the newly constructed Shakira Stadium this September.

Continuing her record-breaking “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour,” Colombian superstar Shakira will perform from September 25 to 27 in Madrid at a custom-built stadium named Shakira Stadium. This marks her first return to Spain since 2018 and is expected to welcome over 50,000 fans each night to a venue designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group, featuring excellent acoustics, full visibility, and premium fan experiences inspired by iconic events like Adele’s Munich residency.

The stadium is part of Iberdrola Music and will transform into a cultural hub offering concerts, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, gastronomy, literature, and more under Shakira’s curation as Es Latina. The residency is produced by Live Nation Spain, highlighting the artist’s continuous influence in the global music scene following her nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets will be available to the general public on March 27 at 10 a.m. CET at livenation.es. Fans can access the artist presale beginning March 24 at 10 a.m. CET by registering before March 22, with additional presales hosted by SMusic and Live Nation the following days. Leading up to the Spain residency, Shakira will headline significant concerts including shows in Brazil this spring and a headline performance on May 2 at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach.
